Windows Delayed Write Failed

Sekedar share aja, beberapa kali saya menemui PC dengan trouble seperti judul di atas saat di lab, yaitu muncul pesan "Windows Delayed Write Failed". Pesan ini terus muncul berulang-ulang, dan tentunya sangat mengganggu. Saat akan membuka suatu program, pesan ini pasti akan muncul. Bahkan saat shut down PC pun, pesan-pesan tersebut muncul terus. Jika di click OK akan muncul pesan berbeda-beda yang sebenanya intinya sama. Diantara pesan-pesan itu antara lain :

WINDOWS Delay Write Failed unable to save all the data for file C:\WINDOWS\System32\drivers
WINDOWS Delay Write Failed unable to save all the data for file C:\$Mft
WINDOWS Delay Write Failed unable to save all the data for file C:\WINNT\Desktop.ini
WINDOWS Delay Write Failed unable to save all the data for file C:\WINDOWS\System32
WINDOWS Delay Write Failed unable to save all the data for file C:\WINDOWS
WINDOWS Delay Write Failed unable to save all the data for file C:\$Secure
WINDOWS Delay Write Failed unable to save all the data for file C:\WINDOWS\System32\config
WINDOWS Delay Write Failed unable to save all the data for file C:\Documents and Settings\NetworkService.NT Authority
WINDOWS Delay Write Failed unable to save all the data for file C:\Documents and Settings\”user name”
WINDOWS Delay Write Failed unable to save all the data for file C:\Documents and Settings\LocalSettings

Untuk mengatasi masalah ini, saya coba cari solusi nya di internet memanfaatkan fasilitas search engine. Ada beberapa cara yang saya dapat, tapi tidak semuanya bisa berhasil. Berikut ini adalah cara yang saya gunakan dan telah berhasil pada beberapa PC yang mendapat masalah tsb, yaitu dengan mengedit Registry
1. Masuk ke Windows Safe mode (click F8 saat booting)
2. Click Start-Run
3. Ketik regedit lalu tekan Enter
4. Pilih HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Session
Manager\Memory Management
5. Click kanan pada System Pages, lalu pilih modify
6. Pada kotak data value isikan : FFFFFFFF , lalu click OK
7. Keluar dari registry editor.
Setelah langkah di atas dijalankan, restart Windows agar perubahan yang telah dilakukan tadi dapat tersimpan.
